How Secure is your credit card?

Park and Save use APH's online booking system which is secure and your credit card information will be encrypted. However, because the booking process is within "frames" the secure icon may not automatically appear on your browser window.

Unfortunately because there are numerous browsers and browser versions, we are unable to address each possible way to view the security of our booking pages. The frame containing the place where you enter your credit card details is certainly secure but you may not see the security icon on your browser (the closed padlock on IE or the solid key on Netscape browser). You can check the security of the frame containing the card details, as follows (example from using Internet Explorer 5.0):

• Right click on "Credit Card" page
• Select Properties
• Click on "Certificates" button - the secure icon will appear and an explanation of the Certificate Properties will be displayed

Our Site has been fully tested to ensure all transactions are secure. APH has processed many hundreds of bookings without a single security issue. In the unlikely event of your credit card being abused as a result of shopping at APH guarantee to reimburse 100% of any loses you incur. We will reimburse the first £50 of your loss as, legally; the credit card issuer must repay the rest. However, in the unlikely event of an error occurring we will handle the whole process on your behalf.

The purchase area of our site is secure. This means that we utilise industry-standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to allow for the encryption of potentially sensitive information such as your name, address and other critically sensitive information like your credit card details. Information passed between your computer and our Web site cannot be read in the event that someone else intercepts it.

It is 100 Times higher risk for your card to be defrauded when you hand it over in a retail outlet such as a Restaurant as opposed to using it on the Internet
